Without precedent in the establishment’s history, the Texas Rangers are winners of the 2023 World Series. The Rangers secured their very first title with an exhilarating 5-0 box score win over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

In the wake of splitting the initial two games at home, Texas went to Phoenix and crushed the Arizona Diamondbacks in three straight games to guarantee the inaugural title for the franchise.

The winning streak earned the Rangers an MLB record of 11 postseason away wins, finishing their journey to the World Series that began with the wild-card round triumph over the Tampa Bay Rays, trailed by prevailing over the Houston Astros and Baltimore Orioles to book their spot in the Fall Classic.

The run by the D-backs finished barely shy of their definitive objective, however, Arizona will be credited with taking out the Philadelphia Phillies, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Milwaukee Brewers, in what was a line of impossible surprises.

With the recent success, Texas’ manager Bruce Bochy turned into the 6th manager to come out on top of four World Series titles. He joins Joe Torre (four), Walter Alston (four), Connie Mack (five), Joe McCarthy (seven), and Casey Stengel (seven). All the mentioned five managers are in the Hall of Fame. Brochy’s teams have won four World Series of the last 14.
