If you are looking for the coolest sports headline of the weekend, it would have to be 23-year-old Collin Morikawa winning the PGA Championship. He might be young, but he showed incredible poise coming from behind on the final day to take home the trophy.

On Sunday, Morikawa would shoot a score of 64, which is six under par. It would end up being a day that he won the first-ever major of his young career. In fact, it was only the second major that he has competed in.

This was a tournament that should have been the second of the year for the tour but has ended up being the first of 2020 due to the global pandemic.

Held in San Francisco, the weather was simply ideal throughout the tournament. Morikawa would make the most of it by overcoming the odds to beat out a cast of greats that included Tiger Woods and other previous winners. He now turns his sights to the US Open, which will be held on September 17-20.
