The 2021 NFL Draft began on April 28 and will end on May 1. This year’s draft class has shaken things up in the world of professional football. First, we’ll take a look at the Jacksonville Jaguars. Coach Urban Myer is now the head coach of this franchise. His football acumen with leading this team has been well rewarded with the draft of Trevor Lawrence to their team. Trevor Lawrence is the former Clemson quarterback that is expected to do big things for the Jags. Jacksonville is poised to become a powerhouse team in the 2021 – 2022 season.

The New York Jets had picked up a solid quarterback prospect known as Zack Wilson from BYU. He isn’t well known on the national scene but he comes highly recommended for the position. Trey Lance is another QB who isn’t well known but comes highly recommended. He was picked up by San Francisco who had previously did some trades with the Dolphins and Texans.

Many other notable first-round draft pick players were tight end Kyle Pitts who has been chosen by Atlanta. Cincinnati has Ja’Marr Chase, who is a former wide receiver from LSU. He played with Joe Burrows and together they are expected to be a productive quarterback and receiver combo for the Bengals. Jaylen Waddle is a receiver from Alabama who went to the Dolphins and the Detroit Lions picked up former Oregon offensive tackle Penei Sewell.

You should also know that former Crimson Tide quarterback, Mack Jones, went to the Patriots. Justin Fields from Ohio State was chosen by the Chicago Bears which was a surprise to most people. Najee Harris was the outstanding running back for Alabama and he was chosen by the Steelers in the 1st round. The second and third rounds of the draft also had some solid players. However, they were not well-known individuals. Still, all 32 teams are pretty much loaded for the 2021 – 2022 NFL season. The competition seems like it will be fierce and no franchise should have smooth sailing to the Super Bowl in 2022.
