In another victory, last night Joe Biden won 4(Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri)of the 6(Idaho, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Washington) states primaries.
In response to the win, Biden said, “I want to thank Bernie Sanders and his supporters for their tireless energy and passion. We share a common goal. Together we’ll defeat Donald Trump. We’ll defeat him together. We’ll bring this nation together”.
Joe Biden still leads the race in the delegate count with 864 delegates. Bernie Sanders is still in the race in 2nd place with 710 delegates.
After the loss to Biden, Bernie Sanders said today, “Last night obviously was not a good night for our campaign from a delegate point of view. We lost in the largest state up for grabs yesterday, the state of Michigan. We lost in Mississippi, Missouri, and Idaho. Poll after poll, including exit polls, show that a strong majority of the American people support our Progressive agenda”.
The next vote is March 17th when 4 states hold primaries.
