Comedian Nikki Glaser hosted the ceremony for the second consecutive year, presiding over a night that blended prestige projects with mainstream successes and offered early signals for the months ahead in Oscar and Emmy races.
The film side of the ceremony was led by Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, which emerged as the most awarded motion picture of the night. The film won Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and earned Anderson both Best Director and Best Screenplay honors. Teyana Taylor received the award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the film, further cementing its dominance.
In the drama category, Hamnet claimed Best Motion Picture – Drama. Jessie Buckley was awarded Best Actress – Drama for her performance in the film, while Wagner Moura won Best Actor – Drama for his role in The Secret Agent. Comedy and musical acting prizes went to Timothée Chalamet for Marty Supreme and Rose Byrne for If I Had Legs, I’d Kick You.
