Helio Castroneves won the 2021 Indianapolis 500 this past Saturday(5/30/21), becoming only the fourth man to win the race four times. He was also the fourth oldest driver to ever win the race, at age forty-six. He got his first Indianapolis 500 win in 2001 when he was just twenty-six years old. He won the next year, as well, and then again in 2009, and those three wins all came with Team Penske.

Helio Castroneves is on a new team this year and raced for Meyer Shank Racing. He was barely ahead of the second-place driver but managed to get the checkered flag with less than half a second between them. He did all of this in front of a crowd of nearly one hundred and fifty thousand people, and when he got to victory lane, he went all out with the traditional victory celebration. Flowers were draped around his neck and he chugged some milk with a big smile.
